1. Before handling the mask, ensure your hands are clean and sanitised.
2. Check the mask for any tears or damages before use. Discard any damaged masks.
3. Ensure the mask is the correct size for your face by performing a fit check according to the fit checking procedures recommended for your specific environment.
4. If needed, adjust the FitClip™ to achieve a secure and comfortable fit. The mask should fit snugly against your face without gaps.
5. Hold the respirator mask over your nose and mouth with the bands positioned behind your head.
6. Pull the bands over your head and position them around your ears, ensuring a tight and secure seal.
7. Press the nose clip against the bridge of your nose with both hands to mold it securely to the shape of your nose.
8. Perform a seal check by covering the mask surface with both hands and exhaling gently. If air leaks around the edges, readjust the mask and bands until a proper seal is achieved.
9. Once the mask is on, avoid touching the mask surface or adjusting it unnecessarily to prevent contamination.
10. The Detmold Medical D95 P2 Respirator Mask with FitClip™ is designed for single-use only. Do not reuse or share masks.
11. After use, remove the mask by grasping the bands and discard it immediately in a proper waste receptacle.
12. After removing the mask, perform hand hygiene by washing your hands with soap and water or using hand sanitiser.
