    • Ensure a good seal with lips around the mouthpiece and always have the spacer in your mouth when you press the puffer
    • Use a mask for infants, toddlers and anyone who cannot seal their lips around the mouthpiece (always ensure a good seal is achieved

    Frequently Asked Questions

How does using a spacer improve medication delivery compared to using an inhaler alone?

Using a spacer with an inhaler improves medication delivery in several ways:

    • A spacer provides a buffer, allowing medication to be released into the chamber before inhalation, making it easier to inhale the medication effectively.
    • Ensuring more medication reaches the lungs instead of the mouth or throat.
    • Using a spacer helps minimise the amount of medication deposited in the mouth and throat, reducing the risk of side effects such as oral thrush or hoarseness.
Does the Asthma Spacer require a prescription?

No, the Asthma Spacer does not require a prescription.

How often should I replace the Asthma Spacer?

To ensure optimal performance and effectiveness, the Asthma Spacer should be replaced every 12 months, as recommended by the manufacturer
